the 11:30 AM Sunday Liturgy- Second Sunday of each month. A Baptism Preparation Class is held on the second Wednesday of odd numbered months (January, March, May, July, September, November) at 7:30 pm in the Rectory All Purpose Room. Please call the parish office to register for both. Ideally the Baptismal Preparation Class should be taken before your baby is born.
RECONCILIATION-CONFESSION: 11:30 am every Saturday or by appointment at
another time. Communal Penance Services are celebrated during the Seasons of Advent and Lent. Ideally we should receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation monthly and as soon as possible whenever we are conscious of serious sin.
MATRIMONY: The Wedding date must be reserved one year in advance. During this year the engaged couple will prepare for their wedding by meeting with the celebrant of the wedding and Pre-Cana preparations. These are the minimum requirements set by the Common Policy on Marriage by the Bishops of New Jersey.
ANOINTING OF THE SICK: This sacrament is celebrated for serious or prolonged illness, before an operation and for those of advanced age. In an emergency call the Rectory at any time (973-366-0060). In serious and advanced illness, the priest should be called to administer the Sacrament of Anointing as soon as possible. Please do not wait until the person to be anointed is unaware of what is going on. He/she should have the opportunity to go to Confession and receive the Eucharist with the Sacrament of Anointing as a final preparation for meeting the Lord.
NOVENAS: The Novena to the Blessed Mother is offered at 6:55 pm on Mondays and the
Novena to St. Jude is offered at 6:55 pm on Wednesdays. The Chaplet of Divine Mercy is said after each weekday Mass.
